St. Lawrence North Market's temporary location is officially open

Deputy Mayor Pam McConnell (Ward 28 Toronto Centre-Rosedale) and City of Toronto staff officially opened the temporary location of the north building of the St. Lawrence Market complex this morning during a day-long community celebration. The temporary site is located at 125 The Esplanade, directly south of the main St. Lawrence Market building.

Pan Am spirit on display tonight as Torontonians welcome Pan Am flame to Nathan Phillips Square

Torontonians from across the city joined in the Pan Am spirit this evening at a community celebration at Nathan Phillips Square for the Pan Am flame just one day before it lights the cauldron at the Opening Ceremony for the Pan Am Games.

New and improved City of Toronto facilities ready to host the Pan Am/Parapan Am Games

A number of City-owned facilities have undergone significant improvements to prepare them as venues and training facilities for the TORONTO 2015 Pan American/Parapan American Games. These investments, along with the newly-built Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, will be a lasting legacy for Toronto residents for generations to come.

Weekend events with road closures in Toronto July 10th-12th, 2015

Two special events in Toronto this weekend will involve road closures. Residents and visitors are encouraged to come out and enjoy these events. Businesses in the areas affected are open to pedestrian traffic but some roads will be closed to vehicles.
