With the warm weather here, residents are reminded that they can track their water use online with MyWaterToronto, a new tool from the City of Toronto that allows customers to view their water use by day, week, month or year.

Mayor John Tory presented the annual Partnership to Advance Youth Employment (PAYE) Leadership Award at Toronto City Council this morning.

Deputy Mayor Glenn De Baeremaeker (Ward 38 Scarborough Centre) will join representatives from East Metro Youth Services and local youths on Friday, June 10 to officially open the doors to Toronto’s newest enhanced youth space, called The Zone. The event will take place from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at East Toronto Youth Services (1200 Markham Rd.) and will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a tour and youth speakers, who will share what the youth space means to them.

More than 400 young performers took the stage at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts yesterday to compete in the 15th annual STOMP Urban Dance Competition and Showcase. City representatives welcomed participants and kicked off the event, which drew an audience of about 2,000 people.
