The paving work on Lake Shore Boulevard from Leslie Street to Woodbine Avenue and on Woodbine Avenue from Lake Shore Boulevard to Queen Street East, and construction work on the intersection of Dundas Street and Parliament Street have been completed sooner than originally planned.

The City of Toronto has begun using both real-time and historical traffic data to support traffic management activities addressing congestion on Toronto's roads.

The intersection of Dundas and Parliament Streets in Toronto will be fully closed in all directions from Monday, May 15 at 5 a.m. to Monday, June 5 to allow for TTC track replacement work as well as road and sidewalk repairs.
From June 6 to 10, one lane of traffic in each direction will be open to allow traffic to travel through the intersection while the last part of the work is being completed.

The City of Toronto's 2017 Chief Planner Roundtable series kicks off with a conversation that focuses on the critical role biodiversity plays within varied ecosystems, including urban ecosystems.
The roundtable will take place on Friday, May 12 from 9 a.m. to noon in Committee Room 1 at Toronto City Hall. Members of the public are welcome to attend in person or watch it live-streamed at http://www.toronto.ca/planning/chiefplannerroundtable.

The City of Toronto today announced the publication of a new, hardcover coffee-table book entitled An Enduring Wilderness: Toronto's Natural Parkland. The book celebrates the natural parkland and ravine system that covers more than 4,000 hectares across the city.
