Toronto's annual CIMA Mayor's Trophy cricket tournament a success

The Toronto Transit Commission team won the CIMA Mayor's Trophy for 2014 in an exciting match Saturday with the Toronto Police Services team. The employee cricket team from Rogers Communications won the CIMA Media Trophy and PriceWaterhouseCoopers won the CIMA Accountants’ Trophy.

Toronto opens new park in Regent Park community

Councillor Pam McConnell (Ward 28 Toronto Centre-Rosedale), City of Toronto staff and community members joined event partners Toronto Community Housing and The Daniels Corporation today to celebrate the opening of the new Regent Park.

Toronto celebrates National Aboriginal Day

The 20th annual National Aboriginal Day, hosted by the City of Toronto and the Toronto Aboriginal City Celebration Committee, began this morning with a sunrise ceremony and flag raising at the Toronto City Hall podium roof.

City of Toronto and partners unveil Pan Am Path

Toronto City Councillor Frances Nunziata (Ward 11 York South-Weston) and the Friends of the Pan Am Path cut the ribbon on a newly completed section of the Pan Am Path in Cruickshank Park and officially launched the Path.
