Lane restrictions on Lake Shore Boulevard and Woodbine Avenue start next week for road construction work

May 8, 2017

Lake Shore Boulevard from east of Leslie Street to Woodbine Avenue in Toronto, along with Woodbine Avenue between Lake Shore Boulevard and Queen Street East, will be reduced to one lane in each direction from May 15 to late July for road resurfacing work.

Queen Street or Eastern Avenue/Kingston Road will be alternative routes for drivers to consider in the area.

Extended hours from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday to Saturday will be used for this project. There will be occasional work after hours and on Sundays to shorten the duration of the project and help minimize disruption to the public.

Enhanced signage will be used to inform drivers of the road closure and to help manage traffic in the area.
